Use photos to answer questions
For this fictional example, Altai Auto Care is preparing its first directory listing. Rather than beginning with filters and elaborate edits, the owner lists the questions a new customer might have before arriving.
NoteAltai Auto Care is fictional. All names and business details are placeholders.
Capture five essential views
A modern phone and clean daylight are enough for the first set. The owner keeps the frame level, removes private customer information, and photographs what people will actually see.
- The storefront or entrance from the street
- The reception or service area
- The team, with everyone's permission
- One representative service or product
- Parking, entrance, or accessibility details
Edit lightly
The fictional shop crops distracting edges and adjusts brightness, but it avoids changing colors or removing permanent details. Accurate images help customers recognize the location and set realistic expectations.
Each file gets a descriptive name and a short alt description focused on what is visible, not a string of search keywords.
Replace, do not accumulate
When the waiting area or sign changes, the owner replaces outdated photos instead of adding another version. A smaller, accurate gallery is more useful than a large archive.
The sample shop reviews its images every season and after any meaningful renovation.
